I Embroidered Fractured Portraits Of Women Showing The Complex Feelings I Experienced After The Election
I wanted to find a way to use my embroidery art to express the deep and complex feelings many women in my life were experiencing after the recent election and the Women’s March that soon followed. When I finished the first one, I was able to hold it up and say, “This is how I feel on the inside about being a woman during this time.”— it was incredibly healing.
An excerpt from the Women’s March mission and vision that inspired this "Women's Series":
“We support the advocacy and resistance movements that reflect our multiple and intersecting identities. We call on all defenders of human rights to join us. We work peacefully while recognizing there is no true peace without justice and equity for all… Avoid internal violence of the spirit as well as external physical violence. The nonviolent attitude permeates all aspects of the campaign. It provides a mirror type reflection of the reality of the condition to one’s opponent and the community at large.”

Beautiful embroidery work Very talented. Question , Why this being used to promote this victim energy. I feel like people are not seeing the "bigger picture", Please , stop and ask, why this agenda is being pushed Why are certain groups being manipulated into this hate movement Do you think they may be afraid of something coming out? ""methinks the lady doth protest too much" You will find out eventually There is more to this manipulation. The answers are easy to find if you stop take the time to do the research Peace

Chris, the reason why this is being pushed is because of the intentional 'dumbing down' of our education system over the decades. And the ideology accomplishing this is Progressivism.
