I Drew Everything In Central London For This Colourful Print

I’m a map illustrator and in my designs, I fill the spaces between buildings with all the great stories and everyday experiences that give a place its soul.

London is an incredible city, and this illustration celebrates a sunny day there – from canal bike rides to picnics, rooftop cocktails, galleries, and markets. If you look closely you’ll find a couple of little hearts hidden around, these are where people close to me met and fell in love – aww!

I spent 45 hours planning and drawing this, and a further 15 scanning, editing, and colouring. A big job but it’s one of my favourite pieces – this is available in a limited edition of A2 and A3 giclee prints, click the link to find them before they all go.

Many of my maps have been private commissions – birthday presents for lucky people, ranging from A4 to A0. I always interview clients to get stories from them about why they love a place, this makes it so much more personal and fun to draw. Hope you enjoy them too.
