I Drew An Environmental Parable Of A Boy Who Caught Every Fish In The Sea

“The Boy Who Caught The Sea” is a short, picture-story about a boy who caught every fish in the ocean by trapping them with glass bottles. Until one day, he chanced upon a little girl trapped in a giant glass house, afloat in the middle of the sea…

An Environmental Parable, this story is about Man’s desire for Nature; about how we constantly seek to possess and control Nature, yet destroying it in the process.

“Be like the Shore
who adored the Waves,
But never once holding Her
in His embrace.”

Hi Yuliya, thanks for liking the story! Bored Panda only allows 40 images in a post, so the last 12 pages of the story are missing. I've written to them to seek permission to post the remaining pages up, but meanwhile, you can read the full story via this URL - https://joseflee.wordpress.com/2016/07/22/the-boy-who-caught-the-sea/

Awesome work. I am in love with the drawings and the final words made so much sense ! "For love is protection, not possession. And only a jealous lover will pluck the stars from the skies above, Knowing not that the skies and where the stars belonged, And where their brilliance shone." Brilliant indeed:)
