Hi! I’m Jakub, a graphic designer and illustrator from Poland. I’d like to show you my illustrations of forgotten animals.
When you think about an animal, the first one that comes to your mind is probably something typical and commonly known. The Internet, on the other hand, is filled with videos of cute kittens or adorable puppies. But what about animals we often forget about? They also need five minutes of attention. That’s why I decided to give my five minutes to those creatures through my project – Minimaksymalizm. I hope you will like them.
I love creating art, so if you’re interested, you can visit my facebook page – Minimaksymalizm.

Share on FacebookIn all honesty I had no idea there was such an animal as Quokka, jerboa or axolotl.
the only animal i hadn't forgotten on this was the badger (they live locally to me) great illustrations loved them!
You're right! Maybe I'll create a second edition with these two included :)
Load More Replies...I can tell you one thing for sure . Wisconsin badgers in the northern part of the state are really mean, armadillos can cause leprosy, red pandas are endangered, & , I have a fondness for capybaras.
You clearly did not understand the whole point of this post. The point was, as described above, that we often think about cats, dogs, etcetera, but we rarely think about animals which are less common. And if they are endangered, or dangerous, or pesty, it doesn't mean they aren't worth the attention. :)
