I Created Miniature Kitten Size Versions Of My Cat Nap Pillowcases, With Their Own Tiny Inserts.
I’ve always been obsessed with miniatures, so on a whim I created actual small versions of my human size pillowcases. I screen printed my cat drawings on to the same pillowcase fabric (300 thread count!) and started sewing some prototypes. After making a quite a few, I finally figured out how to properly replicate the original. Now these pillowcases are in many an adult and kid cat lovers’ dollhouse- and with supervised cats and kittens, of course.
Combining my love of cats with my love of miniatures was amazing for me, as an artist.
Serena, a cat hero friend of mine who rescues litters of newborn kittens, was one of the first recipients and her photos are too adorable! You can see tons of her incredible photography on Instagram as Veggiedayz. She took all the kitten photos here- those are the Quimby Kittens, who will soon be up for adoption. https://www.instagram.com/veggiedayz/
Please note: these are not intended for use as cat toys- only supervised photo props or dollhouse beds!
