In Lithuania, we have many racing events but one of them is larger, faster and louder than others. Autoplius Fast Lap event attracts a lot of spectators, photographers, racers, drifters, children and dogs. Every time you go to motor racing circle “Nemuno Žiedas” near Kaunas, much of tyre smoke and burning fuel/engine oil smell is what you can expect for. A real petrolhead’s dream happens two times in Lithuania and two times in other countries (Estonia and Poland). Many photographers try to catch not only the hottest moments but also the mood of racers. This time I created the double exposure photographs which illustrate the event from the very different perspective.

Share on FacebookAwesome! I feel like you don't see enough super imposed / overlay style images these days. Probably because so many people never take images off their phones... in any case, "Fast Preparation" was def my fave 🙌
Thank you very much, Cam! To me double exposure pictures looks almost magical (if done well) and make me think twice before trying to catch the main concept of the picture. I think there are too many retouched images (perfect skin, perfect lightning setup with no shadows etc.) these days. The imperfection in quality probably is closer to viewer because nobody of us is perfect.
