I Created Dakboard – A Wifi Connected Wall Display For Your Photos, Calendar, News And Weather!
My name is Dan. I’m a software developer and user interface designer from upstate New York and I created DAKboard out of my passion for photography!
As an amateur photographer, I enjoyed taking pictures and sharing them on social media, but I also wanted to see these photos in my home. I didn’t want to have to put them on an memory card and transfer to a digital photo frame, it needed to be automatic. So I created the DAKboard wall display, which pulls photos automatically from my Flickr feed! It interfaces with many popular photo and file sharing services such as Flickr, Google Photos, Instagram etc., making it effortless to enjoy your photos!
Additionally, with a busy schedule I added a calendar display to DAKboard to help stay aware of other family events. It reads calendars from Google, iCloud, Facebook etc., so there’s no additional calendars to manage!
It’s FREE to use DAKboard! There’s DIY instructions posted on our blog and we also have our Wall Display available in our store. Enjoy!
