Who else has been reminiscing on old travels lately? Feeling quite isolated and lost during these times, I’ve picked up an old hobby and started painting again.
I’ve always been drawn to open spaces as it eases my mind so I chose to paint a series of landscape using scenes that gave me comfort. With no job security at the moment, it’s also a reminder that I can still build on my skills regardless of the circumstances.
It’s true that I’m rusty but seeing the progression of painting and understanding the medium and techniques over time has made my time feel more productive and given me a sense of peace and achievement.
I hope to see some improvements in my paintings over time so feel free to leave any feedback!
