I take industrial building blocks and sculpt them into a variety of twists and shapes.

The starting block.
A cut down version of a full sized block.
Holes have been drilled to separate the twists and the first cuts are made with a wood saw.
Wood tools are used to chisel out the shape of the twists.
Once the basic shape is cut out, it’s time to start to separate the twists to make the shape truly three dimensional.
Nearly done. A bit of sanding is required to finish off.
The finished sculpture.
And next to his little brother.
