This whale is 9ft long. Each drawing can easily use between 30 and 50 pencils.

Each drawing takes weeks to complete. This whale is 8 ft long and 3.5 ft tall.

I strive to convey the sense of magic that these creatures inspire.

I have used hundreds of pencils in the process. Luckily my family brings me new, reasonably priced pencils from Indonesia when they come to visit.
