The Voice of Ukrainian Nature — musically visual collection of folk/ethnic/shamanic/meditative music inspired by Ukrainian Nature, in particular Ukrainian Carpathians.

Music is composed and performed by an Ukrainian singer and musician Olha Balandiukh. Video filmed and edited by Olha as well.

Not only does she use her native instrument – a violin, but also a piano, a mouth harp, a guitar and different vocal techniques such as folk, opera, throat, overtone singing.

Singer often travels the Ukrainian Carpathians, films them and composes music as if Ukrainian Nature were a set of soundtracks.

There are currently nine compositions.

The idea was born in October 2020 when Olha travelled and lived in Carpathians for ten days.

As a singer says:

— «Ten days spent in the Ukrainian Carpathians. Every day I met different Suns. Every day different wanderings, I discovered a lot of morning fogs, nature’s symphonies, birds’ conversation, crackling fire sounds and waterfall of stars. My mountain friends inspired me to compose this song called «Autumn Carpathians. Chornohora».

With every new journey landscapes and weather conditions began to associate with music, with emotions I was going through, I was fascinated by the beauty of Ukrainian Nature.

You can travel along with me and acquaint with Ukrainian Carpathians by watching and listening to this collection».
