I Combined Old And New Photos Of Serbian Streets To Bring History To Life – Part Two!

I collected bunch of old photos of my hometown, Niš (Serbia) and nearby spa town Niska Banja and recreated them by taking photos of the same locations from the exact same spot and angle that the originals were taken. Later I merged the old and the new photos together in a manner that reveals the nostalgia and sentimentality…

These photos take us back in time as well as bring the past to us, to our everyday surroundings. They deliver a strong emotional impact and raise questions about our awareness of the beauty of the cities we live in.
