I Carve Wooden Figures And Ritual Objects

For rituals, ceremonies or special occasions, I make “objects” made of wood, stone and other materials, for example, to focus attention, to direct the intention or to remember something. This can be a talking stick, a figure, a specially carved bowl.

I frown upon people using 'wolf skin', 'raven feet', for their art. Did these animals die for your art? If not, what did they die for? Wolves are majestic animals, who mate for life. So, someone out there is without his, or her mate. For art! Ravens feet? How did you acquire those? I am not impressed.

No animal has died for my work. Wolf: The coat comes from Estonia. I have a cites for it. There is a big hunt where only one animal is shot with a lot of noise. So the whole pack realizes that humans are dangerous. So humans and animals can live side by side. The raven feet were rubbish from a man who stuffed animals. Not a nice thing, but rather honor a part of the animal than throw it in the trash.
