I sculpt wool into realistic animals noted for their character. Originally from the American Midwest, I traveled a circuitous trail to becoming an internationally recognized fiber artist. The animals are inspired by my connection to nature and wilderness, and especially by the summers that I spent working in national parks.
I create my wildlife designs from wool, alpaca, and other luxury fibers upon a copper wireframe. I aim to infuse my creations with the spirit of the animal, so I spend many hours studying photos and appreciating the beauty of wild animals.
My designs have been used in brand marketing by some of the most noted luxury designers, including Tiffany & Co. and Mociun.
