I started drawing back in the first lockdown at first it was on and off but now i do around one a week at least (and I’m doing commissions). So if you want to improve on something go out and put in those hours.

First one with coloured lines
First time i tried shading
First lineless artwork
First fully shaded with lines
First time i used a preset pattern
First time i looked hard at the colours i am using
First time i do a highly detailed lineless face

Hi. For the very first pieces for you to try something new-I think these are better than most "beginners" would do on their 20th attempt to do shading, or colored lines, ect. This shows you are a fast learner, and you have the one thing, the single thing; that cannot be taught-natural talent. There are people that go to school, to learn to be able to do, what you just did on a first attempt. I would be one of those people, ha ha, I cannot even draw a straight stick figure! Seriously! Just remember that. Keep practicing, and in a month, look back at your first ones. I think you will be surprised at your progress. Do it again in 3 months. Then at 6 months. Then do it a year from now. I think, you will be blown away at how good you have gotten. I have no doubt, that you can accomplish what you set your mind to. I just know these things.* smiley face *
