Hi! I’m a 13 year old artist and I work under the pseudonym Squiddosnazz. I’ve always loved art, so ever since I could hold a pencil I’ve wanted to be an artist. I discovered pencil sketching with shading in third grade, and pursued it thinking I would quickly move on to another medium. But I loved it so much that I’ve been pencil sketching in my sketchbook (which I take with me wherever I go) ever since. And then this year I discovered the Steampunk style, which I’ve been experimenting with all year and has given me inspiration for some of my best drawings, which are showcased below.

But then I realized that there was no point in thinking “when I grow up, I want to be an artist” because it is just a dream. Not a goal, not a plan, but something far away. So I decided to just start. I tried to start a tee shirt business with my own designs, but it didn’t end up getting off the ground as I lacked the funds to do anything with it. And then I found a crowd funding website called Patreon a week ago, and I have high hopes for it. I unfortunately don’t have any supporters yet, but I’m sure it will come with time!
