Unbelievably Realistic Pencil Drawings By This Nigerian Artist Look More Real Than Photos Themselves
Drawing portraits already takes an incredible amount of patience and skill, but Nigerian artist Arinze Stanley has decided to make his task even tougher and stick only to simple monochrome pencils.
The drawings take Arinze around 100 hours to complete and they are some of the finest examples of hyperrealism we've seen to date. And for those who still think that these are some sort of trick, Arinze shares the work-in-progress pics of his drawings in various stages, which also reveal some insights into how he achieves that realistic look.
If you want more, make sure to follow Arinze on Instagram, where he reveals his newest works piece-by-piece. (h/t: juxtapoz, demilked)

My favorite of this set! The pose and angle of the subject in this case aren't easy, but you wouldn't know it with how perfect it is!
Wow! These are incredible!! I'm just wondering, what type of pencils does he use?
