The artist known as Sabincomics on Instagram creates colorful, funny, and relatable comics about everyday life. Most of you will probably relate to them on some level. She has about 14k followers and posts weekly. She also has a YouTube channel filled with drawing tutorials and explanations on how she creates her cartoon drawings.
The artist touches all sorts of topics, like social situations, the struggles of being a girl, and, of course, the pandemic. "My webcomics are mostly inspired by my life and my daily routine!" the artist told Bored Panda.

Mom Knows Best
We asked the artist what inspires her work and how long has she been drawing: "I get most of my creative ideas for these funny comics from my life and daily routines. I've been drawing since I can remember myself and I've always had a preference for creating my own cartoon characters and drawing comic strips and later animations."
Social Awkwardness
On Showing Emotion
When describing her style, she said: "I would say that it's in between modern and realistic cartoon styles, but I like to try all the different art and cartoon styles." She mentioned that creativity is a big part of her life and she creates 2 comics per week. She wishes that she had more time in a day so she could do all the cool drawings she wanted.
Period Nightmares
Brain Freeze
Since her comics are inspired by real life, she doesn't find it difficult to find inspiration for her work, because every day brings new adventures she can illustrate in her comics. When asked if she had any tips for people just starting out, she had this to say: "Just start to create whatever you have in mind. Everything starts with an idea, so grab a paper and a pencil and start giving life to your ideas!"
Real-Life Fairytale
Feeling Bored
"I study at Fine Arts University and my dream job is to create comics, animations, and art, or cooperate somehow with a big animation studio. Also, I have a little secret to tell you... I have one more channel on Youtube called TIM (toys in motion). If you like it, check it out—I believe it will make you laugh," said Sabin when asked about her job and hobbies.

Real-Life Fairytale
Sabin shared with us the struggles she faces as an artist: "First of all, I have a struggle with the most strict judge... myself. And second, unfortunately, I don't have easy access to all the materials I need and I want. I believe this last one is a struggle that every creator faces."
Self Care
Procrastination 101
"Every day is a new challenge! This should not scare us, but give us joy because we will create something new. And please come to my page and channel, I need you all because you give me the strength to give you the best I have!"
Hopefully, these bright and cheery illustrations will brighten your mood and give you a break from your dull routine. Do you relate to any of the comics? What situations in your daily life would you like to illustrate? Tell us in the comments!

Enough with all the expectation vs reality cartoons we keep getting. Thye joke is wearing extremely thin and repetitive. A lot of these kind of comics are almost exploiting issues of low self-esteem and practically encouraging them. The endless procession of these 'relatable' comics about women fretting over clothes/weight/how others see them is giving the impression of this is how you should expect things to be. Sure, there are people with real issues, and sometimes everyone just binges on junk food or spends the day in their dressing gown. But 'woman covertly eating junk food and feeling guilty about it' is not something we need repeated as normality. "Woman saying "f**k your social pressure, I'm eating junk today and I won't feel bad because on average my diet is OK", is a much healthier attitude to demonstrate.
I know right! It’s really dumb that we’re SUPPOSED to feel guilty about eating chips, even if normally I’m pretty healthy

I agree with the comments about these comics being "Cathy"-like and rehashing the same tropes over and over again. (BTW, Cathy was a comic strip in the 80's that was the first to openly address these topics, and many of these themes are identical to the ones in those very old comic strips.) There is nothing wrong with these artists cutting their teeth on these topics if they wish, but this and other submissions often recreate exactly the same panels, with exactly the same "wingbats" (stars indicating beauty and pride, for example) that we see from other artists every week or so. I think telling these storylines from each individual's point of view is their prerogative, but it is becoming repetitive and close to plagiarism. I know that if I were the creator of Planet Prudence (@planetprudence), who posts on BP regularly, I would be a bit troubled!
thankyou! some people just decide to show that and others hide it.

these are really nice comics. I think they are funny and you aren't supposed to feel bad but some of them you can relate to. That's what they are supposed to be
These were all written by some neurotic woman (or man with an identity crisis) who reads Kathy cartoons and actually thinks they're funny. Seek help!
"Funny and Relatable Comics Almost Anyone Can Relate To".... Are you in the department of redundancy department??
Do some people really think most girls party and barely eat? I always see these "haha I eat chips, I'm not like other girls" and are you special because you eat unhealthy food? I was so upset with the "guys I want vs guys who like me" if you soooo want that guy, then actually try. I'm so tired of these haha I eat chips, I'm not like other girls
