I visited Iceland recently and I fell in love with this country. Lot of beautiful waterfalls, stunning landscape, active vulcanos, many glaciers and empty areas. I especially liked the atmosphere around the glaciers, because it reminded me the global warming. Check my photos and immerse yourself into the cold icelandic atmosphere.

I am glad to see it. In a few years it’s going to disappear
Everywhere on Earth ice is changing. The famed snows of Kilimanjaro have melted more than 80 percent since 1912
The glaciers are disappearing. It is true and we need to face it. We are losing the race
The melting glaciers from Jokursarlon lagoon
Arctic sea ice has thinned significantly over the past half century and its extent has declined by about 10 percent in the past 30 years

Share on FacebookI think we can do many things. I walk instead of driving, using public transportation instead of driving, not throwing waste on the ground, eat instead of beef more vegetables and chicken. Livestock are responsible for 18 per cent of the greenhouse gases that cause global warming, more than cars, planes and all other forms of transport put together. so at least we can do something and influence someone.
In the US, President Taft created Glacier National Park in 1910, it was home to an estimated 150 glaciers. Since then the number has decreased to fewer than 30, and most of those remaining have shrunk in area by two-thirds. Glacier melt has been happening over a long time . Are Hollywood stars ready to follow what they preach by giving up their private planes? Are we willing to give up air travel? Move closer to work, drive less? Give up meat? How much are people willing to do ? What about 3rd World countries ?
