I can't shake the feeling that if someone compliments me, it's either out of pity or they are saying that I am pretty or whatever for someone like me, but not as pretty as pretty people are, or that they might like me but that means they have a weird taste, or that they are trying to get something by complimenting me... compliments are always the worst.
