How The ‘Yellow Vests’ (Gilets Jaunes) Movement Destroyed A 135 Year Old Tailor Shop In Paris, France.
As I was walking down the long Parisian avenues this Saturday 8th December, a curious event caught my eye.
A group, following the movement called ‘Yellow Vests’ broke in and destroyed a family shop located in front of the Opera Garnier. I stood there silently, watched them and waited to see what will happen next.
As moments passed and yellow vests left, I remained alone on the side walk.
…Alone until a young man and his mother arrived.
She couldn’t speak, at first. But then she started sobbing and mumbling: her father used to own the shop and seeing it demolished deeply affected her.
