We are a creative and curious collection of international women from France, Canada, and America, banning together to memorialize this uniquely unifying experience throughout the world in the midst of a modern pandemic. By assembling a team of artists, designers, translators, and organizers, we thought to let the world tell their stories as we all go through our days in different, but strikingly similar ways throughout this lockdown. This was the genesis of the idea, at least.

I love the animals taking over the cities, the clean water & air as well , of course.

On April 6th in Paris, France, we launched a project called "Quarantine Confessions" which had the ambition of gathering stories of people's experiences during the quarantine, to share with the world. We all know how good it feels to share our thoughts and feelings with others; especially in times like these when our isolation can lead to anxiety and loneliness. We then selected the most heartfelt, the funniest, the most poetic, and the most earnest excerpts and sent them to artists we knew for illustration. That’s very simply how this love chain started. Today, three weeks later, more than 50 artists have joined the adventure and are reinventing your stories to keep our spirits high, to help us smile and dream, and to remind us that we are not alone.

"Quarantine Confessions" releases one quote and corresponding drawing a day, but it's not just a forum for sharing our experiences. It has become a community for shared experiences. We release a weekly playlist each Friday to dance to during quarantine, share suggestions on museums you can visit right from your living room, recommend shows and plays to watch laying in your bed and of course, we publish your illustrated shares daily to help us to reflect on our relationships to others, to ourselves, and to the planet. This collective consciousness focuses not just on how we as people, from different nations, with different languages and cultures and values, are sharing this moment together, but also encouraging us to think about what tomorrow can bring, and how each of us can do our part to create the world we want to live in, then and now.

That's great-You need to take time for yourself and improve things. For me, that would be getting academic work done (Late work and current classes) as well as working out, doing hobbies, watching TV, and doing stuff that I've been wanting to do or do more of. Note: I recommend taking some time to yourself from your relationships. if they truly love you, they'll know you need the time to yourself or just explain a bit and be like 'Hey, I wanna work on myself for a week or two' and they should understand. Take care of yourself. Learn about yourself. BE YOURSELF. xx

Our ultimate goal, with a little help from our friends (the artists), is to enhance the beautiful moments of life, even in the darkest or scariest of times. What better way to leave a mark in our rush towards the future than to capture the beauty in the present, to be preserved forever?

We go out at night. Streets are deserted & there is a peaceful calm in the evening air.

I guess we are lucky. We have just under an acre. We picnic with the kids under a huge oak tree in the backyard and my youngest lives to climb the magnolia tree. There are tons of squirrels, rabbits and wildlife all over because behind our property is acres of fields and trees.
