Has your kid lately demanded bots, heroic attires or spy gadgets? Most of ours’ have, because they love them not by their usage but due to a familiar social phenomenon: other kids in the school and Tony stark have them. Yes, our next lineage totally believes in alien invasions, impossible science magics and time travel. While some tend to stay in a passive state expecting a foster to feed or protect. Others want to be the savior so glorified and respected.

Action movies have been the top grossing genre since Marvel comics based Avengers Saga started in 2011 and never looked back. Action was always in limelight with various episodes of star wars, Fast and the furious running through the millennial years. But there were some classics, brilliant true stories which donned the audience and the era then (Can you forget Shawshank redemption, Sherlock, FIght club). People loved the intense intellect, motivating lifestyles and exemplary leaders based movies. They could co-relate themselves to the stories, take the all important lessons and inculcate positives in their own lives. Action movies are a bit thin to provide such optimistic material as are filled with violence, imaginary characters and bare attachments to the real world sins and sinners. But still we wait for them, only to refresh from, forget the daunting routine and watch the future tech. And I admit, i am also the one from that group.

Albeit times have changed now and virtually every popular director have tried hands on this genre with plots varying from Prisoner or mercenary plots, space ventures, sci-fi & superhumans battles. The flairs of romance, humor and comedy are aptly mixed to entertain thereby keeping the trend explorable and not dried up. 2017 has already bagged many action thrillers like Star trek, Guardians of the galaxy and Fate of the furious. But, it looks like the dusk to this trend isn’t out of sight. Not only because it’s been overused, but also the fact that there isn’t much to learn something new, morally or socially. The frequency has become a problem and the russian version of The Guardians is a pure example that only the veterans should focus on these projects rather than to dilute such a wonderful category. People come to watch action because they don’t see much of it in routine. But, rejuvenating and getting inspired likewise is good for once in a while. Movies should give people a hero to follow and a connection to learn which is rarely seen these days. Major reason is the unleashed power of CGI being hunted by the graphic modellers to make an ant look like a truck. The audience should understand, not all movies are made for every age and kind. This would give them a remarkable sense of what to watch, expect and where to pick from.
