I Volunteered To Decorate A Hospital’s Paediatric Department Walls To Make Kids Happier
We had a mission: to help kids pass the time and have fun, as much as possible, while being hospitalized and treated.
I’m Miki Mottes, an independent illustrator, in collaboration with creative director Michal Or-Ad and Baram who owns the project, designed and produced huge wall murals for the Paediatrics Department in Israel’s biggest hospital Sheba Tel Hashomer.
We took part in this important (and fun!) project voluntarily, to do whatever we can to make this place as happy as possible. We created different concepts for each floor, full scenes of creatures that are fun, innocent, colorful and funny – an exclusive and unique story – leading the visitors into a fantasy world.

Share on FacebookI wish something similar could be done with the pediatrics hospital in Guinea Bissau. It's such a depressing place there. Any ideas on fundraising for a similar cause would be much appreciated
great idea and beautiful done replacing all that standard white walls and fill them with color.. :))
If I were a sick child there, I bet this would help me recover faster. Great work!
