There is no hesitation to the thought that the most sincere, selfless love comes from animals. Homeless people's relationships with their pets is proof that animals are man's best friend. In this case, they offer vital help to the homeless and hopeless.
It is sad yet comforting to know that the best friend most people have is their beloved pet, and for the homeless, this becomes vital as it gives them a reason to live. They build solid friendships knowing that they will never let them down.
In a project called "Moradores de Rua e Seus Cães" (eng. Homeless people and their dogs), the organizers are assisting homeless people and their four-legged friends in Brazil to live a healthier life, including medical care!

Just passed by a homeless tent today, nearby there was a big paper saying something to the effect of "I don't ask for money, just dog food for my 8 children" (am brazilian btw, not in my state right now otherwise I'm pretty sure my mom would like helping the guy with dog food but travelling there ain't much I can do).

I am so humbled, thank you! I had no idea how many homeless children there are, and here I am trying to spoil mine for Christmas! I wish I knew how to help! I know that when you have the love of a dog or kitty, the days don't feel as lonely, an looking into their loving eyes gives you reasons to not give up. Bless them all❤️

Such a big load of love in all these pictures 😍 However, not to be a nag.... Parents should teach their children the proper way to hold a dog, I've seen a number of pictures where the animals bottoms aren't supported and they just "hang" in there... Imagine, being held by someone who's much bigger then you that wraps one arm under your armpits from left to right and then lift you, it's not comfortable 😳 So, hand out arm beneath their b*tts and give them the support that is needed to make them comfortable and supports their back 🙂
