I absolutely love that staircase and the area made like a balcony.

Me too, this list is false advertising! I mean, if someone likes it, who cares if it’s not conventional. I’m always impressed by the vision and spaces these people have!

It looks like a converted church. I can't decide if I'm looking at a pulpit or a choir

Everyone wants to "tame the room down". If ever a room should be over the top, it is this room!

It just needs books, a wine rack, working fireplace and cats and it would be my favourite room.

Fonk you, this room rules! I mean, I wouldn't want a whole house like this but what if this was like a hidden room behind a bookcase kinda deal

For the life of me, I can't find this. There is a remarkably similar image with dead musicians in it that was generated by an AI, and it's making me think this one is AI generated, too.

I feel like I'm gonna need to solve a puzzle in here, and right before I claim my reward a monster will jump through the stain glass.

It's giving Dorian Gray in the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. I recall a room very similar to this.

I probably should've read the comments before I posted, because I see that as well! All red velvet and wrought iron...

I would LOVE to visit this place. Living in it wouldn't be for me, but it's super cool

I love the staircase and railing. I even like the pergola (?) over the reading nook. But the red paint and the rest of the furniture has to go.

I love this. It's a bit much but I'd take elements of it and be happy to live with it.

Modeled after a cathedral. If the house is big enough to support it, I’d really enjoy it, personally.

I love this one to the Max. I see it as a small building with an added kitchen and bathroom of the same design. I could be very comfortable living the rest of my life with my art supplies and long dragonion dresses that I own and I'm wearing one now. LOL

This is great for putting in a play for a small group, or a murder mystery evening. Very fun for entertaining.

I don't hate this at all, and it would make a great book nook https://www.pinterest.com/pin/155303887530351098/

Based on the ceiling and the woodwork, this looks like it probably belongs in this house.

Reminds me somewhat of the house in the show What We Do In The Shadows for some reason?

Taking the red and gold brocade and the red away and removing the horribly classing furniture away, this space would be gorgeous. I love the architecture

Tone down the upholstery on the rugs, carpets and furniture and it would work.

I hope this isn't a bedroom, cuz I would NOT sleep in there. I would be afraid that one of those would fall on my head.
