Not only that, but if someone does want to be a parent but the pregnancy is not viable or could cause them harm or even death, then they should have the right to ensure their survival. It is 100% absolutely necessary healthcare.

Women ARE dying from lack of reproductive care! While most reasons for getting an abortion are not health related, however, there is no reason that women cannot make that decision for themselves. The overwhelming majority of women who have children are the primary caregivers. Those who do not want children, or are unable to provide adequately, must be allowed to control their own destinies. For those not in long term relationships it can mean forever chasing after the father to try getting critical support. To shame them for having intimate relations and getting pregnant while just shrugging off the man’s involvement is ridiculous. And to even imagine that someone else- someone who does not know or care about the woman- is in a better position to make decisions about what her life should be is unconscionable.

There need to be more mind your own business

This! I want to see protesters taking home a baby with no arms, legs or brain activity. Or with spina bifida so severe it will be permanently a 6 month old. These same protestors and senators also fight the funding for social programs that would allow a forced mother, probably single, to take care of said baby.

Or, birth control was used and failed. So if a woman used no birth control and had sex without requiring the man to sheath up, there is an educational opportunity. But if she made a mistake she should not have to bear that child. The man gets away scott free. She has all KINDS of changes in her life. He doesn't. He just goes on with his life. And some legislators work to limit or eliminate her opportunities for help. And those same legislators seem to be interested in limiting or removing her access to contraception too. Or education about it. So, yeah. I'm all for allowing the termination of a collection of cells not yet human. Viability is the legitimate standard in my opinion.
