I really don't see the issue with half of these. Normal rural houses or weekend cottages. But l'm Spanish, so 🤷🏻‍♀️.

I assume the OP must be a USA suburbs denizen, used to seeing prefabricated paper boxes that look exactly the same, so anything out of the ordinary they deem as strange. Most of Europe has homes like this, literally nothing odd about it.

All this list did for me was move Spain further up the list of places I really want to visit. Something about the architecture (even the uninspired stuff), and the light, and the flora really speaks to me.

Most of houses look fine, no issue .

Some of these look like office buildings, others look like warehouses, others look unfinished (which admittedly makes them look weird but not ugly, just unfinished) and the ones finished are actually nice. There's one that looks top-heavy that looks like a traditional Galician house that tend to be top heavy cause they have ovens and heating in the ground floor and living areas on top, so the heat goes up and keeps the living areas warm.

This list would have been exponentially improved if they'd included map/satellite links so we could see more location context.
