OK, I live in Salem. They shot the film in the fall of 1992. Tourists ask me all the time where the locations are. But, you forgot the cemetery where Max's sneakers are stolen at the beginning of the film. That is actually located in Marblehead (next town over). Max's house is a private home, but you can tour the Ropes Mansion. It just looks nothing like the film inside. The interiors were all sets in California.

Hocus Pocus 2 now in Production and filming In Rhode Island on a farm sets are being built as of 10/1/2021 also Cemetary that "MizAdeleM" was talking about is The Old Burial Hill Cemetery- Orne Street, ( Location NOT In Salem Massachusetts but in nearby Marblehead, MA)
