There is something about absurd humor that is so entertaining. The biggest component that makes us chuckle is probably the element of surprise. There is a page on X (formerly Twitter) called 'AAAAAAAAAA' that posts cursed and sometimes completely out-of-context memes.
The page was created in September 2022 and currently has 214.2k members. We've curated our favorite memes from the X page and you might find this quirky combination surprisingly funny. Let the scrolling begin!

According to the Oxford Dictionary, a meme is: "An image, video, piece of text, etc., typically humorous in nature, that is copied and spread rapidly by internet users, often with slight variations." But there is more to memes than just this definition. During an interview for an earlier article, Bored Panda spoke to stand-up comedian Evaldas Karosas. Here's what he had to say about memes: "A meme is like an inside joke for people that don’t know each other. Humor in general helps us connect with people on a deeper level, a meme serves the same purpose, but on a wider scale."
The word "meme" traces back to 1976. Richard Dawkins is said to have coined the term in his book, "The Selfish Gene." The way he described it was, "analogous to a 'phoneme,' the smallest unit of sound in speech, or a 'morpheme,' the smallest meaningful subunit of a word."
It really is funny how quickly they learn the ins and outs when they can't read yet.
If anyone wants an explanation - pigeons are domesticated rock doves. Rock doves are cliff nesting birds, so they only need to make sure that the egg doesn't roll off the rocks. You'll see similar nesting or lack thereof in other cliff birds like kittiwakes. Cliff bird not need no fancypants nest like some kinda tree bird.
Memes have been around for a long time; people arguably have used them as long as they've had the symbolic system. Kirby Conrod, a professor of linguistics at Swarthmore College, told the New York Times that Dawkins merely came up with a name for something that has been around for a long time.
If you ever said 'fail' or 'winning', have a 'keep calm' t-shirt in your closet, or did an ice bucket challenge, you've participated in meme culture. You heard about it somewhere, you changed the concept to suit you and appropriated it for your own usage. These are actually the key things that make a meme a 'meme'.
their instead of it's (and it would be "its" anyway). A teacher is a person. Source: a teacher.
A meme is sometimes not only for laughs. According to the 'Digital Trends' website, "Memes can also impart significantly more information than simple text alone. In the same way emojis have been used to convey complex moods or emotions, a meme can impart a complex idea, state of mind, or shared understanding far quicker than typing out and reading a written explanation of an idea."
The “picture” of the planet is most likely just cgi and the only way we can figure out the chemical composition of the planet’s atmosphere is just analysing the light that passes through it
Some memes are easier to understand than others. The easiest-to-grasp type of meme is called an 'image macro'. It is basically an expressive picture with a huge title below that sums up the meme. Others can be a little bit more difficult to understand, with references to a specific show, movie, etc.
You never know when you're going to need chicken seasoning.
So whether you consider yourself a meme lover or not, chances are, you've participated in meme culture. Continuing scrolling through this quirky collection of memes from X's page 'AAAAAAAAAA'. And if you're thirsty for more, check out our previous article about the page.
The jet fighter wheel REALLY makes the shark and the statue (???) look like some sort of dinosaur head, with the wheel as its eye.
I assume it's a panorama picture where the cat didn't move, but the tail did causing this
Still can't convince me to study or want to have anything to do with physics
I guess this requires a bit of explanation: That dude was a fitness influencer who claimed to have attained this physique with regular workouts and a specific diet (animal liver basically) only. He was found to abuse anabolic steroids, ending his career and showing that about nothing about him is natural.
Why did I think this was a picture of serial killers hanging out together?!
White lettering gives my vision a funky a*s afterimage that I can't stand.
Oh no, my child is acting up because they're bored. Let's make them even more bored!
Not true. If everyone has one child, then the population stagnate. If every couple has one child (and they stay a couple), then the population decrease.
I thought at first it was "typing insetead" that they were afraid of. They should be, it looks atrocious.
Why clowns and sharks? I'll never understand that. One is just an apex predator that wants to be left the fúck alone but people hang around in its habitat as if they'd own it. The other one is a shark.
death is not scary. Serial killers - specifically those with axes - are another story.
Lol I first read it to say serial kittens bc of the awful white font.
Load More Replies...No. The scariest thing is accidentally reacting someone's 1000-year-old post.
Actually it's accidentally typing :)( . Tf is that? You're sad? You're happy? You're crying inside but showing a smile? It's the deepest form of confusing confusion
AUGH IMAGINE TEXTING UR CRUSH WHO DOESNT KNOW U LIKE THEM WITH ;) INSTEAD OF :) THAT MUST SUCK
Not one of these were funny, many were ancient! I gave one upvote for cat.
Who, are half of these cut off? These Twitter screenshots don't show the whole meme in half of these cases
Did the BP editor just screenshot twitter without enlarging the actual memes?
