Still super hot. She married some loser and has a few kids with him.
That loser was me. Just celebrated 22 years of marriage.
He had a rollercoaster of a life. I admire him more than ever, and more than most people I know, but can't wrap my head around why I ever found him physically attractive. Maybe it was always just his heart.
By age 25, he had a PhD, a wife, and was a captain in the navy. By 30, he had two PhDs, a small business where he made a metric a*s-ton of money, and his wife was pregnant. By 31 he was diagnosed with stage-4 skin cancer that swiftly spread to his lymph nodes, bones, esophagus, and a few other places. He was told he had minimal chance of making it 5 more years. Even with the best health insurance money can buy, it still basically wiped him out.
Seven years later, he's living a comfortable but not extravagant life as a civilian contractor for the navy, same wife and two happy healthy kids, and spends most of his free time advocating for better public health care.
Glad he beat cancer. He is doing a good thing by advocating for better public health care. This guy was rich and still lost most of his savings to save his life.Everyone does not have same financial capacity and everyone deserves to live.
He’s 32 and still works at the same pizza place and is a conspiracy theorist so I feel like I dodged a bullet.
Still cute as heck, one of the kindest and most sensitive people I know, and still one of my best friends 15 years later. He's also recently divorced (his wife was gay but needed time and support to come to terms with it) and now he and I are slowly testing the waters :) What started as a crush has matured into a deep and rich friendship, and—however it may unfold—I'm so grateful to have that relationship in my life.
She passed away our senior year, six months after she agreed to marry me after we graduated :(
My crush turned into a self-righteous prick who still lives with his parents. He became livid when he found out my husband and I had a baby. I apparently was supposed to be his back-up plan if he couldn’t find anyone better.
Guess who got put in the rear-view mirror now... Good on you for not being his 2nd best choice. Smh...
Haha, my husband! Our first marriages didn't work out and we reconnected after our divorces. If only I would have confessed I had a crush on him in high school, might have saved myself a lot of trouble... Lol
Pretty good. Seems to have her life together, although she had a few setbacks. She's gone back to uni since job prospects in here field kinda sucked, but seems to be really enjoying it.
She's dating me though, so clearly her judgement sucks.
The guy I crushed on for 2 and a half years did not end up turning out great. I'm still friends with his younger sister, so I know that he recently acquired his third DUI and his second divorce. He's currently living in his friend's basement and occasionally works for his friend's moving company as a mover, but only when he feels like it. He spends all his money on booze and owes the two moms of his 5 kids tons of child support. But man, was he hot in high school.
My second crush in high school is the only reason I got over my first crush. He's currently doing great, mostly because he gets to be married to me for going on 20 years :D.
My high school ex randomly sent me a text years after we split up that went "I know you don't like metal, but I thought you'd like this" and a link to a clarinet cover of a metal song (I played in HS).
Little did he know that I hated playing clarinet and I was now a total metal head.
An insanely talented molecular biology researcher at Boston. And she’s still insanely attractive
Went on to be a teenaged model for hair products, graduated from Yale, toured Europe, opened her own successful ceramics company that is sold worldwide and is often written up in magazines. Makes me feel like s**t every time I think of her.
trite, but *she* doesn't make you feel ANYTHING. you do. don't blame her for your lack of happiness. that is on YOU.
She worked with the Obama administration (I forgot in what capacity) got married to some politician’s son (don’t remember don’t care to look up.)
She is happy and that’s the only thing that matters, oh she was also our schools Valedictorian she was so busy with her job she could not organizeour high school reunion so that’s a plus.
I wasn’t head over heels for her I admired her but I knew I wasn’t for her.
Then there’s another crush of mine, we ran into each other years after graduation at grocery store. After talking I asked her out to dinner at my house, I pull out all the stops I buy rainbow trout filets and make all the fixings.
6:30 rolls around I open the door and “who the hell is this man behind her?” Oh this is my fiancé , she tells (neglected to tell me about) me. Turns out they wanted to sell me on some MLM thing. She tried to cross the threshold I put my arm out and asked them politely to leave. I turned away from the door and had my saddest meal I ever ate.
Multiple degrees, on track to being a full-time educator, mother of two, and my wife.
I'm so lucky.
You made me check and she is actually a very successful artist and an art teacher at a renowned university in France. She even got decorated for her work (Chevalier des arts et des lettres)
My friends high school crush was Tom Holland... Like they went to the same school
Hot douche who doesn’t really do much except go to the gym.
To be fair, that’s how he was in high school, I just liked it back then.
That can't last forever. If the steroids don't finish him, old age will. Being fit is one thing. Trying to look like a muscular Adonis is another. Pure vanity. Give me a normal looking guy any day. People who look like this tend to have very big egos and small brains to go with it.
Overdosed and died last year. I got to see him before he was taken off life support with a really good mutual friend we shared (organ donor too). It was surreal seeing him dwarfed by all these machines. He had one the largest hearts I’ve ever come across.
Ahh, jeez. It's never easy losing friends and even less so a crush. Sorry for your loss T_T
Became a professional cheerleader, Died of breast cancer at 34. Googling names from high school is crazy!
Began acting. It’s weird - every so often I’ll see a commercial or something and be like “oh, hey, I know them!”
My crush is an incredibly sweet person, so I’m glad.
Same with my high school crush! I happened to be channel surfing and stopped on a show called “Adam Ruins Everything”. I had never heard of it before but then suddenly I see my crush, I had to IMDB it to make sure I wasn’t seeing things! Then I found out he had a small role on “The Wolf of Wall Street”. I’m very glad to see he seems to be happy!
My only GF in high school was my crush. Her mom banned her from dating me after about a year because my GF admitted to her mom that we were fooling around. This was about 20 years ago.
She’s still living with her mom, no kids, and as far as I know never again dated seriously after her mom broke us up. Still has the same job from high school too. It’s like her mom went way into protective overdrive and my former GF never grew up.
Back when I was younger and crushing hard I got on AOL instant messenger and had gotten my crush’s screenname from a friend. I worked up the nerve to start a conversation with him and soon after some awkward small talk he sent me a message in Comic Sans, black background, red lettering, and in French. I then went to google for translation and found out he had just called me a pig, in French. Being a seemingly awkward and chubby teenager, I was literally crushed.
The heartbreak was only made worse by remembering that a few weeks prior I had selected to take French class the next year and couldn’t change it.
Years later now that I’ve *blossomed* he follows me on every social media platform, has reached out a couple of times to try and flirt/hang out. Hard pass.
I believe he’s moved away and is a teacher now.
I think that in French they use the word pig in a more intimate setting, as in "Mon petit cochon" = my little pig, a phrase to address a lover or a child. The same with the cabbage "Mon petit chou" = my little cabbage. Ils sont fous, ces francais!!! 🤣
I had three. One from the first two years and two from the last two.
The first one is now F to M trans, who walked to Colorado to join a cult/commune. He is now in Arizona recording rap albums.
The second girl moved to Florida and lives in a swamp. She periodically hits me up to tell me she misses me, how dumb I was that I didn't follow through, that we should get married.
The third was a missionary. She wasn't really into it once she grew up, came back home and I introduced her to one of my closest friends. They've been married for 15 years.
0/3.
Still a ten for looks. I'm sure she kept on as the amazing, kind person she is. She moved to another country, speaks multiple languages and is more successful than I imagined. She seems happy but we haven't talked since the time I told her how I felt about her about 20 years ago.
Harvard. Degrees in writing and medicine. Became a leading surgeon in a major city. Extremely proud of her. Always had her on a pedestal.... I guess with good reason
My English teacher still looks fine as f**k
One of them is homeless and a druggie. It's very sad.
The other one is famous in his home country, is a best selling author, and is regularly on tv. Don't have a crush on him anymore, but I'm glad we are still friends, and I'm happy for how well he's done.
I guess they balance one another out.
I briefly worked with mine and didn't realise it was her until I left for another job. She looked almost unrecognisable, but it was 15 years after I last saw her. She's married with a couple of kids now, so pretty standard life I guess.
My crush started dating and later married my best friend. Double heartache for me. (He turned out to be a serial cheater and their marriage crashed and burned.) I met my husband months later and we've been married for 30 years now. Some things do turn out for the best.
Ahh my 1st crush, we wherent on high school though but we where classmates, for Over 2 years i had a colossal crush on her, untill She met a new boyfriend ( now her husband ), then She married, had kids ( Twins ) she's still hot as the day i met her a frikking human Barbie doll, She apparently os also getting younger lol, i checked her Facebook a wille back, and i Saw She was 30.... Which is wierd because Im 44 and She was a year younger than me lmao.
Some of these posts are giving me a smidge of hope. My current crush is not my high school crush (because we're 7 years apart and grew up in different towns), but he's also my friend (not super close, but I still consider him my friend nonetheless). He is newly single and I am trying REALLY hard not to get my hopes up. Obviously it's going to be some time before he's ready to move on and there is absolutely no guarantee that he will see me as anything more than a friend. I'm trying really hard to not get my hopes up because there is every chance in the world that this will remain unrequited and I have to be prepared for that. Sorry, I know this isn't the same subject as the post, but I really had to get it off my chest. I have it bad for this guy and, at 36, my dating pool is pretty small and only getting smaller.
Does he have any strings attached like having kids?
Load More Replies...I don't even remember my crushes, and these people have a biography of each one of theirs
One turned into an epic misogynist and left an absolutely appalling message on another classmate’s Facebook about how all women need to be r*ped and forced to burkas so men won’t have to put up with their c**p anymore. Charming. The other is a Stan of a certain South African gazillionaire to the point that he thinks gazillionaire guy walks on water and the sun shines out of his @ss. I got blocked when I had the unmitigated gall to criticize gazillionaire guy and not believe he can do no wrong. Oh well. 🤣
Ahh yes. My high school crush. We're both in 10th class now, she's dating some loser a foot shorter than her. I'm the loser :D We have our differences but I love her and whatever conflicts we have, we can work them out peacefully :)
Nobody is gonna talk about me when on about their crush lol
Same. There was one guy who had a crush on me in school and I don't know what he's up to nowadays, but I know he's better off. While I was not attracted to him, he was a really sweet guy and I was and still am a trainwreck of a human. I hope he's doing well.
Load More Replies...Oh c**p. Well junior high to high school crush was a talented drummer and played in local band then other bands after school. Was on football team. Great player. Stupidly handsome and beautiful blue eyes. Went on to be a hairdresser and still played band shows for last 35(?) ish years. Now I got him a job because plague hit and salons couldn't take people and waiting around all day to even try to have a client to cover the gas to get to salon and back-I tried to help out. Had him drum for my band. Could only do every other Sunday and was drinking and taking 45 min of studio time after being late to set up and fiddle w drums before even starting to learn a song. Was ok. But now with me at this job he drinks on breaks. Takes stupid long breaks. He gets paid very well and we have insurance too. Hour long lunches for a 30 min lunch and using stuff in the shop not tagged for compliance. Doing jobs the way he wants not how shown. Errors after errors and will prob get fired. I tried to help.
Side note he did the he head bosses families hair and is in good with them so he assumes he can do whatever an still have a job. I've shut him off as a friend now and just treat him as an annoyance. Guys here depend on our work to get paid. Assemblers. Drivers. Showrooms. They get commission. We get hourly. If he doesn't shape up he's gonna be gone. And he doesn't even have a place to live. Was couch surfing then started here. Got evicted from couch now in sister basement. Idk I tried. I can't save everyone but gave him an opportunity to move forward in life.
Load More Replies...My one crush got married, moved to Europe, is doing extremely well financially, and it sounds like he's happy. He was one of those guys in school who was super smart but didn't want anyone to know because he didn't want to be a nerd. I still see his dad once in a while because I still live in the same small town (sad). Another one I had a crush on for years and years but he repeatedly turned me down (I was the fat ugly nerd in school). I ran into him a few years ago, after I lost a lot of weight and had a pretty big glow up 😋 and he was shocked and looked like he had some regrets... but at the time I was dating someone else.
My first crush/ prom date is still one of my very best friends. He's doing pretty well for himself and is seeing a very nice woman. My first official boyfriend from college and I are also still good friends and he is presently engaged to the woman of his dreams and I am beyond the moon happy for them. My first fiancé made some bad choices and ended up getting the woman he was cheating on me with pregnant. Thus ending our relationship. We've kept in touch over the years and he believes I am the one that got away. My ex-husband moved in with his mom and never moved out. He struggles with some issues and may not ever find someone compatible with his personality.
I haven't had Facebook in about 6 years, but when I had it I tried looking up my crush from middle/high school. Married, no longer cute. Male equivalent of a crazy cat lady (cats are cool, but I counted like 9 or 10 just in one photo).
I only remember my first crush, first love and I think that's only because she was my first, I'm 44. We went to school since kindergarten. I actually looked her up not too long ago, sometime within the last year or so and saw she was married. So I certainly didn't reach out to her or anything. I'm not crossing that line. 🤷
Ahh... mine married her highschool sweetheart, has 2 kids and seems super happy and it seriously as stunning as she was in highschool 😍
My crush was my best friend, he changed schools at 9th grade and we kept contact only through texting. He met a girl, proposed to her and got married last year, I was a guest and felt good seeing him in person again and his mother remembering me. Edit: he knows a lot of coding and programming and has two jobs on different companies, earns good money and recently moved to United States
He got a bachelor's in computer engineering from the University of Iowa, a master's from MIT, and he's now working for one of the bigguns. I can't remember which one. He married right out of college to a normal, average woman and has three kids. He is a very happy family man now. Every so often, I think, "What if?" I wasn't ready then and am now married to a wonderful man.
I had a guy who was one of my friends in middle school. I had a huge crush on him but never said a word. He changed schools and we completely lost touch. Fast forward to me being 18 and going to dance clubs with my friends a lot (this was the late 80's) and I spot him but was afraid he wouldn't remember me. But his friend he's with comes up and starts chatting to me and my friends and then the crush walks up with a few other guys. He totally remembered me! But the friend was more persuasive and flirty and I wound up in a relationship with him. In the process, and because we all hung out in a group, this guy became a very close friend. Then the friend and I split up (very toxic, terrible relationship, and he cheated on me) The friend totally stuck by my side and was an incredible support. We hung out all the time but nothing other than friendship. I accepted that he only saw me that way. Then he got a super jealous, manipulative girlfriend who forbid him from hanging out...
....with me anymore and we lost touch. I found out from mutual friends that he was indeed in love with me back then, but felt guilty about me being his friend's ex girlfriend. My current best friend still knows him, and she said that he really misses our friendship. We're both married with kids now, and there's no way it would ever be romantic, but I would love to be his friend again. He was such an important part of my youth.
Load More Replies...oh man. anyone who knew me knew who my crush was....from the first day of 6th grade until well past high school. He had a unibrow (i still find well-marked brows attractive) and played in a metal band. we had almost every class together, being in G&T and accelerated classes. no clue what became of him after a year or two at college. he was studying Flamenco and classical guitar when i lost track. He never was inerested in me, but i was fairly intense. i asked his mom once, in 8th grade, why he didn't like me. She tried to console me, but i think she understood that heartache. I've been with my husband for 20 years, and i only feel a twinge of nostalgia, thinking of the countless hours of aching for that kid who was probably overwhelmed by my attention. And i had plenty of adventures between high school and the moment i met my husband...i lost out on NOTHING. i hope Crush is as happy as i am. ❤️
Mine owns a local shop and i still crush on him but can never catch him single.
One of my crushes at the boardingschool I went to when I was 16 is now a politician. Not at all surprised at that. A guy I liked to sort of tease a bit (but I think I did it because I sort of liked him?) When I was about 7-8 years old... well.. he is now supposedly a famous p@rn star in my country. My huge crush from I was ca 10 years old and until I went to boarding school seems to be married and is now a family dad. He was from Bosnia and it seems to me that he hold that heritage very dear. I am so glad for him, how his life turned out. I don't know, however, if he was one of those guys who ended up in violent gangs? I never heard he was so I assume he dodged that bullet. I know those aren't from HS but.... the ppl I went to HS with mostly were horrible people.
I had a crush but didn't act on it until I was grown and Had my 1st place. The saying is be careful what you wish for cause you just might get it. Well long story short he turned out to be a narcissistic, controlling stalker. He followed me and timed me everywhere I went or everytime I left. He started out so sweet and loveable then turned out to be a real jerk who actually cheated and expected me to say oh I forgive you and take him back nope I took a quick exit and didn't look back. Now he's married to the woman he cheated on me with, he had 5 strokes, he's blind in one, and she treats him like he used to treat me can we say Karma. My life turned out to be perfect
I just wanna throw this out there bc I saw a ton of self-deprecating comparisons happening. Accomplishments of others do not increase or decrease your own value. Just because someone is a world famous surgeon does not devalue your own impact on the world.
My wife's high school crush, - He joined the Army after high school and ended up on the front lines of Desert Storm. He got out of the Army and came out of the closet. He moved to Chicago. I know he had it rough for about 15-20 years as his family are homophobic a-holes. I know at one point he put on a lot of weight. But he's in his mid 50s now, he dropped the weight and looks like he's in his 30s. He's a relatively successful writer and has been married to the greatest guy ever for 11 years. Happiness looks good on him. Funny side note, my wife was the last girl he dated and we ended up getting married on his birthday. They exchange notes every now and again. Also, he's just one of the greatest people ever. I used to joke with my wife that he has to be too good to be true. Handsome, talented, generous and compassionate. Then I finally met him and we hit it off and when it was over my I said, "Man, I'd date him and I'm not even gay." LOL. I like stories with happy endings.
I remember my crush from 4th grade, he and I went together like peas and carrots (or PB and J, whatever you prefer). He was my best friend and we both knew we had crushes on each other, but we weren't allowed to date until we were 16. I moved away the year after I met him. He didn't leave me any of his contact info, neither did I for him. I went back to visit my old hometown where I met him seven years later and found out he had died just 4 months before I got there. They wouldn't say how he died. I miss him too my core and think of him every day.
I was his crush in highschool and a bit after. Found out not long ago he’d been groomed by his dad most of high school and now sells himself online to guys for money. Doesn’t want any help or counselling so I said see you later at your funeral and stopped talking to them. Harsh? Yes, but you can’t help someone who won’t help themselves :(
One of my crushes and I ran into each other and I had gained a good amount of weight 20 years later due to an accident and a debilitating disease that I cannot walk without a walker and isn't curable and will only get worse. Anyway, we ran into other and he (still handsome) but a huge douche bag. He made fun of my weight gain but jokes on him. I ended up marrying the man of dreams who takes of me and finds me sexy, (regardless of my weight).
