Game of Thrones Fans Think That Jon Snow Helped Arya, And These Details Allegedly Prove It (Spoilers)
Game of Thrones has slowly but surely become the ultimate ‘weapon of mass distraction,’ with nefarious goings-on in the real world getting a fraction of the analysis and understanding of the fictional battles in this insanely popular TV show.
The latest episode left many disappointed that Jon Snow seemingly didn’t do anything

He spent most of the time aimlessly flying around on a dragon

Or yelling in pain, anger or both. However, some fans think that he did much more

The latest theory to get tongues wagging is that Jon Snow actually did help to kill the night king. Just before Arya reached the Night King, Snow can be seen coming from behind his shelter to fight Viserion, the undead dragon. Apparently, he screams “Go!,” allowing Arya to pass by and do her deed.

Reddit user Applesoapp takes the credit for this massively important observation. “Jon screamed at the undead dragon to distract it so Arya can run past and kill the Night King,“ they wrote.
“The undead dragon was protecting the entrance to the Godswood. Watch it again, you can actually hear him scream ‘GOOOOO – GO – GO.’ Ten seconds later…you can see the hair of a White Walker flying up when Arya sprints past the group of White Walkers. Jon once again was ready to sacrifice himself to kill the Night King.”

We can see someone running in this scene where one of the white walker’s hair gets rustled up

So it seems that while Arya rightly gets the plaudits for scoring the winning goal, Jon Snow should be at least racking up an assist for his selfless act. Perhaps people will lay off him a little bit now?
What do you think? Was Jon helping Arya? Or was he just screaming at that dragon? Let us know your opinion in the comments!

Share on FacebookWe've seen the mother of dragons taking over whole cities and thousands of warriors, we've seen a 3-feet-high girl changing the mind of expert family leaders and then she killed a giant with one thrust, we've seen prostitutes outsmart very smart men, we've seen Cersei lead from the background and then take over, we've seen Sansa surviving abuse, only Theon had it worse, and now she's the lady of Winterfell and almost everyone listens to what she has to say, and then there's Brienne and Arya, no description necessary, just badass. Probably forgot some. Oh yeah, wildling girl! All this in a series that shows a lot of boobs, while emasculating a lot of supposedly strong men. I think arguing about feminism, when talking about GoT is misplaced, ridiculous, offensive to men and women alike, not to mention the author. He made it clear that there are strong and weak individuals in the 7 Kingdoms and gender has nothing to do with it. It's Humans vs Night Walkers, not Amazons vs Barbarians.
People that try to make this a gender war make my eyes roll back in my head farther than Bran's, when he's warging.
I don't know if the online fuss is a gender issue or a narrative issue but either way, GoT has proven before that being a strong good fair character doesn't always grant you success. Good people die and fail in the real world, I think it's great that Jon (a main character) didn't get to defeat the NK. Because changing the game it's what makes it interesting. Having the main chara kill the villain (like your standard shounen manga or hero movie) is honestly boring. It was a WAR, people help each other and thinks don't go as planned. Did Jon actually help Arya? Great! Did Arya killed the NK without Jon being invoved directly? Geat too!!! Jon has won battles before and so has Arya, so it's not taking credit away for any. Well, that's jus my opinion.
