My mom and sister both suspect I might have an eating disorder, specifically that I might be anorexic. I have shown many of the symptoms and I wouldn't be surprised, but I'm wondering how to stop it before it becomes a problem?

First, if it's financially available to you, look into finding a therapist who specializes in eating disorders.

Second, look into building a support system with your friends and family. You can also look up support groups online (like this one: https://anad.org/ or this one: https://www.allianceforeatingdisorders.com/anorexia-nervosa/ - there are others that are easy to find, as well)

Third, talk with your physician about this issue. They may refer you to another physician, but it's worth asking them about this before finding someone on your own, as they already know your medical history and may have an excellent reference they can give you.

I hope this helps!

Whoah sorry I'm late, didn't see anyone had responded! I'll look into those websites and try to get all the support I can. I have a therapist too, I'll talk to her about that. Tysm for your advice, I will be using it ^^
