Academic-wise, just study hard and don’t be afraid to ask for extra help. If you get a crappy teacher who is gonna affect how you work, or you feel like a class is not going well, try and switch to a different class ASAP.

When it comes to other students, just be yourself. Better to do so now so any fake friends who come along won’t find out later and betray you and tease you for who you are.

I hope you have fun in your high school 😊

My mother told her niece who HATED school: “you’re not going to be 16 forever.” The bad parts of school will fade. But the good things you learn will be with you forever. Example: study habits; time management; focused work. Ps. I have multiple friends that I met in grade 9 our first year of high school. I’m now 75.
