For the aspiring actors or the theater pandas out there, what was the show that went the best, or the big mistake that ruined the night.

so our musical this year was annie, great show, it all went well. except for one major thing. the air conditioning went out in the cafeteria the DAY before we opened. now this show was in the beginning of may in texas where it’s already 90-100 degrees outside. and it was humid as heck even just wearing our black shirt and shorts that we have to have under our costume. and since annie takes place in winter, i had to wear FOUR layers of costume. plus sing and dance under hot lights. it was brutal. i kept having to redo my mic tape because i kept sweating it off and other people were also having the same problem. we had giant fans on in the back hallway, which was great for the people who could spend a lot of time back there, but i was onstage almost constantly. we found out after our third show that it was about 85 degrees inside. and of course the school is getting a new ac unit put in this summer, right as i’m leaving lol.
