Just why?

Because to some people anything lgbq or sorts is different and they don’t understand. Or at a young age they are taught relations are between a man and a woman. So they may see it as wrong
I was just guessing so please don’t get mad at me 😖
i dont know! I think some people are just rude to anyone they think is different to them. im a non binary goth & people seem to hate it i dont know why! random strangers shout at me am i a boy or a girl, what am i dressed as, why am i wearing that etc 😕 i dont know why it matters i dont know them, some people are just rude! ill never understand why anyone could be offended by how people look/dress or who their partners are, they dont even know them!
Really sorry if people are being mean to you, dont let it get to you they are just very rude people!
Thank you <3 I'm so sorry that happens to you- I'm non binary as well, and it's SO annoying when people are like "BoY oR gIrL??" I also personally also love the goth aesthitic, you're awesome
I honestly have no idea. I never understood and never will understand why people would be homophobic.
I don't see why it's anyone's business or problem if a person is gay or straight.
I believe that the heart wants what it wants. And love is love.
It's only handy to know if a man is gay. If I want to date him. Otherwise we should let everyone love who they feel attracted to.
I just don't understand- I know people are idiots, but this is on a whole new level.
They are afraid of what they don't understand, are going along with societal pressures, or are retarded.
Idk but a lot of them try justify their hate by hiding behind their religious beliefs and saying that bc the ancient book says it’s bad that it’s it’s bad

There are many reasons for homophobia. For some people, it makes them question their own sexuality, for others it might have something to do with their religion. I think that the reason is that people are very judgmental and like to have negative attitudes toward anything that is different.
90% of the time it's a combination of these things: 1. Lack of research on the topic, LGBTQ spaces, and anything associated with the community. 2. A belief that this is a new thing, which it isn't, but they don't realise. 3. Fear of difference, many homophobic people are also racist. 4. Education, previous resources, and their experiences as a specific person.
