Hello friends, I was just wondering who all of your favorite actors were, and why you liked them so much! Imaginary bonus points if you know the first movie/show you saw them in.

Gary Oldman, because you never think about the fact that he's Gary Oldman when he's acting, he's just that good.
My favorite actor is Robert Downey Jr, simply because I think he's amazing, and all the characters he portrays he does a great job in, even if the movie as a whole isn't that good. The first movie I ever saw him in was Sherlock Holmes (2009) followed by The Avengers (2012) and then thw rest of the mcu in order. Then I watched Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows(2011), Wonder Boys(2000) and Chef(2014) so no, I haven't seen him in that much, but I happen to have youtube and have watched scenes on there. Anyways.
Mine is a bit controversial. I have a lot of favorite actors but this one is my favorite. Now, before I say who it is, I do not support any of his wrong doings whether it be public intoxication, alleged emotional or physical abuse, I'm just going by his acting career.
My favorite actor is Shia LaBeouf. We're similar ages and I grew up watching him on Even Stevens when I was a kid, I watched him breakthrough into movies like Transformers, Disturbia, Eagle Eye when I was a teen and early adolescent. I watch him now as an adult in Peanut Butter Falcon and Honey Boy.
He has always been my favorite because of that. He hasn't had the smoothest life and I sometimes feel like he's trying so hard but yet he keeps making mistakes, which I can also relate too. I just hope someday he finds peace.
I know this wouldn't go over well with a lot of people but as I said, I do not support the wrong doings, I just support what seeing him, someone my age, all these years, means to me.
Jean Claude Van Damme.
Hear me out!
I'm a major action movie fiend. I love them and I watch even the hoakiest ones. First time I saw him was in blood sport. I have been a fan of his ever since then. I at one time owned every movie he had ever made at that point on VHS. I don't care what people say about his acting but I will point one thing out that most people seem to not realize.
In the 80's and 90's action movies Van Damme had the largest range of movies that were out. Some people may think his acting was stilted but I personally think between Stallone, Arnold, Dolph Lundgren, and the others of that time frame he had the most acting range. He also plays one heck of a bad guy.
Personally 'The Quest' is one of my all time favorite movies and one of his best in my opinion. Side note I personally think the best movie Arnold did was one called 'The Last Action Hero'. Most people don't even remember that movie.
Kate Winslet. I first saw her in Titanic and loved her because she was stunning, but she quickly showed that she is a fearless, superbly talented and dedicated actor. I’ve never been anything but impressed with her performances.
