We have all gotten in trouble but sometimes for absolutely nothing.

not really for nothing, but there was one time that a tech teacher gave about half the class, including me, a detention for something that was mostly her fault. tech was in a different building to the rest of the school, so it took a while to walk there. Also, when you got to the tech block, you had to wait outside it and line up until the teacher brought you in. i think my classs also had music before, and there was one absolutely tiny room where the instruments were stored, so it was always packed- so much so that people literally got trampled multiple times and it took ages to get out unless you were really lucky.
So I went out of the tiny storage room, and walked to the tech block, and lined up outside it. There was a decent line there so noone suspected anything. also it was like 1 minute before the lesson and the teachers were often late. So we waited, until some people got suspicious like 5 mins into the lesson, so they went up. They didnt come down so more people came up. Then at 20 minutes into the lesson, the teacher finally came down and berated us for being so late, which was fair-ish. So the lesson happened an d i was shaking all the way through it. Then at the end she decided that anyone who was even a second late had a detention. Now that was not fair as the teacher is sometimes late to the lesson and the half of the class that was late thought that that was what had happened at first. keep in mind i wasnt even late, but about one minute early.
After all that, the detention really wasnt that bad because of the sheer amount of people doing it at the same time. but that experience made me absolutely paranoid about tech lessons until lockdown. what made it worse was that i am not kidding literraly the next lesson, she came 5 mins late which was almost unheard of and a load of people went upstairs, fearing that the same thing happened again. we nearly got a detention for that.
f her.
I was about 12 or 13 and the football club that I played for backed straight onto a petrol station. As is common in petrol stations, there was an air hose to inflate your tyres which only worked when you paid whatever fee it was; 20p I think. So my little mate and me were (rather foolishly in retrospect) messing about on this forecourt when the air hose caught our attention. We didn't have any money but we still pretended it was a light sabre, or a sword, or a gun etc. anyway. Just as we were pretending it was a gun, this elderly lady - probably in her sixties - exits the clubhouse onto the forecourt - at least 10 metres and probably more away from us. When she sees us with our 'gun' she turns around and goes back inside. Thinking nothing of it we messed around for another five minutes or so and then went inside. All hell was breaking loose at the bar. Our parents were there. The Club Steward was there. The old lady was there. And they were all having very cross words with each other. We got told off and told to 'sit there and don't move' which we did in the next room over. We found out afterwards that the old lady had claimed that we 'shot' her with the air and made her fall over! None of which was true. Thankfully, our respective parents got along really well and, after a few phone calls, had corroborated our story. In the end, we all had a good laugh about it but at the time it felt SO serious and scary.
I got detention for talking in class once when I wasnt talking. the kid next to me was talking to me and when i told the teacher that he said "it takes 2 to talk" But the other kid didnt get detention.
not exactly fur nothing, but we were not allowed to take breaks for a whole month because some
When I was 11 my sister and I were sitting in the living room when out of nowhere she screams that I bit her. I was on the other side of the room and when my mom walked in I was sitting down across from her with my headphones on and my book in my lap. I was still sent to my room and yelled at later🙄
I was on my way to work one morning. Just as I got to the train station, 2 police officers appeared and told me I was under arrest. I tried asking 'What for?' but was ignored until I reached the station and booking in.
