The first rudest thing that you witnessed someone do or that someone did to you that made you want to scream

(I’m trying to use nice words 😅)

When I caught my uncle raping my little sister. I broke his jaw, fore arm and 3ribs with my baseball bat. I was 9.

Good job for beating him up, but I'm really sorry for your sister, I don't know why people do these things.

When I was a higschool freshman, I had a big argument with my mom. I couldn't understand how she just let me be bullied in elementary school. She said she didn't. She went to the principal looking for a solution and the principal told her: "They always find someone to pick on. It'll go away."
(Spoiler alert: It didn't. I tried reporting my bullies the school counselor once, they denied everything, I got a written warning for making stuff up. Went back to being s3xually harassed /at 12yo/, beaten and my stuff being destroyed).
More than 10 years later, the trauma is still there. My trust issues, fear of men and paranoia that everyone hates me, that stuff just doesn't seem to go away.

About 15 years ago, I was calling in a late bar for a nightcap and ended up chatting to this gorgeous, funny girl who happened to be black (I am white). We enjoyed each others company for a couple of hours and I offered to walk her to the taxi rank. So far, so good, right?

Wrong. As we left the bar a gang of approximately eight men chased me down the street until I fell. They ignored the girl, which was good at least. They gave me a really good kicking and were beating me with an extendable metal baton at one point. To add insult to injury, they stole my watch and wallet too. During the assault it became clear that a 'white boy' like me shouldn't be talking to a black girl.

Luckily, someone had called the police and they broke the gang up and probably saved my life. They drove me to the hospital where I was treated for cuts, bruises, concussion and a detached retina. They didn't arrest anyone.

Since then I rarely leave the house and my mental health has taken a nosedive. I went into that bar like an excited puppy, wagging my tail at a pretty girl, without a care in the world. That night I discovered that the world is a dangerous place and puppies get eaten for breakfast.

Wtf… that’s not an okay thing to joke about! That’s like joking how Afghanistan lost the war! Or joking about the Croatian war! Or even the Syrian civil wars! (Might be a different country but I think it’s Syria)

It sucks when that happens, my mom's ex was physically abusive, and her current one while he isn't physically abusive, he is financially and emotionally. He's also a creep who likes to comment on my body when I'm underage. Is your mom away from him now?

I think it was in the sandpit, when the other kids wouldn’t play with me because I was fat and ugly. Not being dramatic or self-pitying, just answering the question.

When my husband had back surgery and had to rehab for a year and a half. It was only my income, and no one in either one of our families offered to help us financially. One person- my late MIL’s best friend- offered and paid our utility bill so we could have that current, but no one else! ☹️

And a couple days before someone who worked on the fiery tried to kick them off when they weren't even in the right place. The world is full of injustice but for all the bad people it's good to know there are plenty of good ones that care.

Hello Canadian here. Unsure if when this happened but got the SASKALERT like 8 in the morning. There was a shooting in my town. Can’t go out right now because he is still hiding somewhere…

Just because we (mostly) banned guns for civilians that doesn’t stop shootings.

Omg I forgot to update. They caught him in the afternoon-ish. I know for sure one person died from a house fire the shooter started. But that could be wrong, all I know is someone died.

When I was 8 and molested by an uncle for five years. When I was 10 and was responsibile for taking care of my 1 year old sister because mom was critically ill in the hospital and dad had to work to keep a roof over our heads. When I was 13 and molested by two other uncles. When I started working at 15 and giving the majority of my earnings to my parents to pay bills. When I was 44 and finally earned my master's degree but was unable to get a job as a nurse practitioner because of a car wreck (that was not my fault) 8 months prior that left me physically unable to work 2 years later. And I still thank God every day for blessings that I do have.

Probably the first time I saw somebody murdered. I was too young to fully understand, but I remember the screaming, my mother trying to get to me from the other side of the auditorium, and the smell of gunpowder and blood. I knew I had to be scared and to run away whenever I saw police. But I didn't really understand why until then.
