This Will Be Good

I believe in the Trinity (God, Jesus Christ, and The Holy Spirit). I take my belief on faith. I have nothing concrete to prove to you that they exist, only on faith. The Bible is many things - historical records, biographies, poetry, and shared experiences. Did these historical stories happen, were these people real, was any of this real? I believe much of the Bible did happen, but much of it are stories to teach a lesson - parables, Sermon on the Mount.

I have no proof swaying me in any direction. No proof a god or something doesn't exist but no proof it does either.

I believe there is a God. I believe that Jesus Christ died for my sins and every one else's. I believe that Jesus will always love you, no matter what. I believe that anyone can come to Him no matter what age, race, culture, background story, or gender. I believe that anyone should be able to walk in a church and feel loved.

Unfortunately, there are Christians out there who are very unaccepting of others because they are gay, or have done some pretty bad stuff.

Do I love people who are gay? Yes. Do I love their lifestyle? Not so much. Is my place to judge others? ABSOLUTELY NOT! I don't know what they went through as a kid, or what they're going through right now. It's not my business, if you want to live that lifestyle, knock yourselves out! (Not literally, of course.)

I have some friends who are gay, one friend came out to me because they felt like I was the only one safe to tell. I want to be there for you, not constantly nagging about your way of life.

Like I said before, not all Christians are accepting like that, and I am so sorry if you had to experience that. That's not at all what Jesus is like. He will welcome you with open arms, and if you ask him to be his kid, He will adopt you into His spiritual family. He will hold you in His hand and never let you go. You will always be His, nothing you do can change that.

God, the creator of the world, sent His Son, Jesus, who was perfect and had never done anything wrong, to die for us! He went through pain and suffering, abandonment, so that we could have a relationship with God. Jesus understands what you're going through. He's there for you when no one else is. He holds every single tear in a bottle, he keeps track of every sorrow, and when you cry, He cries with you. One of the most precious verse in the Bible says, "And Jesus wepted."
one of his friends while Jesus was on earth had died. All the relatives were there, telling Jesus, "If you were here, Lazarus wouldn't have died." As they were walking to the grave, Jesus heard them crying and felt their grief, so He cried with them. He did raise Lazarus from the dead.

    Jesus LOVES YOU!

I’m very open with religion. I think a lot of the major religions have some things right, some things wrong. I’ve created my own interpretation of things that makes the most sense to me which combines things from Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism, Islam, among others, and other things like occult and “witchcraft”.

I wish religions were more open in general. Typically, if you don’t believe 100% of said religion, they’ll belittle you.
I also think religion and science go hand in hand, but my older relatives scream at me for trying to claim God and evolution (in a form) can both exist.

In my opinion, religion should just be your own personal faith in a higher power, and people shouldn’t try to convince you something is right or wrong. Literally no one knows the actual truth.
