Someone without a politic agenda and no competencies in politics at all rallies for the presidential office. Backed by millions who hardly care and live in a bubble vote for him, the rest believing someone who considers lies a legitimate way of communication could not become the most powerful person in the world. He wins the vote despite having not the majority of voters behind him. Four years later, the led nation has lost many former allies and much of its superiority whilst the societal problems have become suffocating. The society is not living a dream together anymore, but it deeply split. Still, the leader enjoys support of tens of millions even after a campaign in which political aims play no role anymore and his party, formerly representing half of the population, has become a mere person cult. Checks and balances are slowly stripped from the system. The only person to profit from this ultimately is the political leader himself. (To my defence, five years ago this would have been a very valid conspiracy theory.)

Couldn't possibly happen. Who would wager their human rights on such a person? Oh.....

One of my all-time favorite conspiracy theories, is the one about the Hollow Earth. There are many myths that talk about how we live on the outside of the planet, but there's a whole different world on the inside (and they're more technologically advanced too!)

I'll start things off with a common one - what do you think of it though, is it true or tosh? In December 1980 there were a number of sightings of mysterious lights in Rendlesham Forest, UK. The lights were reportedly witnessed by USAF personnel stationed at the nearby air force base, some of whom claim to have experienced a close encounter with an unidentifiable force. Following police and high-ranking USAF personnel reports the incident was dubbed the 'UK Roswell' with many likening the encounter to that of Roswell, NM in 1947. Were the lights nothing more than an illusion or was Britain visited by extra-terrestrials? Or was it just Santa?

It could be a "ball lightening". It's a rare weather occurrence, there's many interesting stories about that one.

UFO's aren't from other planets but are really from the far distant future. They aren't breeding alien human highbreads but are taking DNA, from their past to save the future.

We haven't found any alien life in space, because there is some greater evil, and other life doesn't want to alert it of their presence and/or location.

I like this concept. The idea that a super predator lurks in space and the only civilisations that survive are the silent, hidden ones. What makes them a super predator? Only the logical conclusion that preemptively annihilating other intelligent life is the only way to be certain they are not trying to annihilate you. Some physicists did some back of an envelope calculations and realised that if there were 1000 civilisations in this galaxy, we already have the technology and resources to wipe them all out (though our missiles would take thousands of years to reach their target), the only data we lack is where to aim those missiles.

The dark forest theory in response to the paradox? The question is, are we the super predators? No one wants us around?

Maybe we haven't found any intelligent life in space because they don't want anything to do with us because we're too primitive -- do you ever feel like introducing yourself to ants?

The reason we haven't been visited by aliens is because ageing is a disease and Earth is under universal quarantine.

You could replace this one by Tupac Amaru, Richey Edwards and many other celebrities that died or went missing too soon.

Following a harbour collision which left the Titanic* with structural damage, they planned to scuttle the ship and take the insurance money. Everyone was supposed to be safely ferried to the Carpathia which was loaded with supplies for passengers. However, the ship sank way too fast and everyone accidentally died. Source: a few pissed crew members and deckhands who claimed there were shenanigans with the Titanic and its sister ship in the dock, following the harbour collision.

Interesting story, the titanic was at fault. The hull was made of a metal that brittles in cold water, the nuts were badly fit so they started popping out and finally they used the wrong call signs, predecessor of SOS.

    Epstein didn't kill himself.

My guess is MI6, personally. Or possibly the CIA working on US soil.

When the COVID-19 virus came to the U.S., several parties within the current Regime believed that it could be weaponized against minority populations by selectively delaying actions that would have mitigated it's spread. (The "plan", such as it was, being to quietly alert those in majority White Republican areas to take proper safety precautions.) Unfortunately, the virus spread far more quickly than anticipated -- and things were made worse because the current Occupier of the White House was unable or unwilling to grasp how it was *supposed* to work and kept sending conflicting signals to those who were *not* intended to get infected. Thus why we are where we are. (Prove me wrong...)

The Hivehand and the Alien Grunt from Half-Life are the same species. The female uses the male as a way of movement and protection, and the male uses the female's offspring as weaponry. A bonus theory i'm gonna throw in is that The Man in The Yellow Hat from Curious George and the zookeeper from Zoo Tycoon 2 are the same person.
