Such a difficult question! I love "The Music Man," and am always surprised to see it left out of "top musicals" lists. And "Hello, Dolly!" for Michael Kidd's choreography. Sondheim's "A Little Night Music" is a wonderful paean to the waltz. Also "Company" by Sondheim. "Chicago" gets an ovation from me everytime I watch it. I guess all of them are my favorite. I DO NOT COUNT Disney's musical animations as musicals, sorry. I enjoy them, but they're not what I think of when someone says "musicals."
I have to agree with you about Disney. Also, Music Man is AWESOME
Singing in the Rain - the music and dancing are incredible
Did you know that Gene Kelly had a fever when he shot that iconic title number?
I’m creating one about disease, but I LOVE Hamilton and wicked. Please don’t ask me to chose, I couldn’t decide!
