I’ve been speaking Urdu since I was very little, so it’s not too difficult for me, but something difficult for people learning to speak are all the light “h” sounds at the end of syllables and words. They’re there, but they’re really lightly pronounced, so people either over pronounce them or forget to say it. And they can change the words meaning. Like Thora/Thoda means ‘a little’, and tora/toda mean “broke”
My first languages are English and Finnish but as I feel Finnish is the stronger one i'll say Epäjärjestelmällistyttämättömyydellänsäkäänköhän or Kyykkyviini
And these are difficult for foreigners not Finnish people
My first language is english.
Worcestershire sauce.
My first language is German and it's notorious for its super long compound words... you can basically combine an infinite number of nouns to create a new one.
Sommerschlussverkauf
Finanzdienstleistungsunternehmen
Bundesausbildungsförderungsgesetz
I'm learning German right now, and the compound words are killing me, but not as much as the numbers (he had us do our math homework in German and send him a copy for extra credit)
My first language is English, and honestly the whole there/they're/their thing seems pretty difficult for native speakers to grasp, I would assume it would be worse for learners.
