Tell me what you saw.

Only ever been to two weddings so it's not the biggest incident EVER but i guess you could consider it a hiccup. My sister and brother in law already had two kids before they got married. The youngest was two and a half at the time. So by the time things were finally starting, she was understandably a little fussy (tho surprisingly no tears.) She hadn't seen her parents in hours and she was ready for this to be over with. My mom had her on her lap while the ceremony began. The moment her dad showed up she got squirmy. The moment her mom started walking down the isle she was actively trying to reach for them. And in the middle of vows, she escaped my mothers hold and RAN down the isle as fast as possible going "daddy daddy!!" He had to hold her throughout the rest of the vows. Lol it was more cute than anything though.

Not me, but my sisters experience: The groom's mother told in her speech how much she detested the bride and that she didn't deserve her son/he deserved better (besides a lot more insults).
Long story short: groom was so wasted- he threw up all over the place and his bride; a huge fight ensued in which the groom protected his mother, followed by a crying bride who threw her groom and mother out of the party. Still married though and willing to move in into the grooms mothers house together … (this was about 6 years ago)

My cousin had an open bar for the entire duration of her wedding. Many of the people there were full blown, angry alcoholics and they got s**tfaced. My uncle said something to another cousin and that set off a chain reaction resulting in an actual brawl between several family members. Property got destroyed- the wedding venue had stained glass light fixtures depicting local landmarks and those got broken, along with chairs, dishes and glasses. Someone in charge eventually called the police and some of my cousins ended up getting arrested. It was the kind of large scale fight that you see at the prom in the climax of an 80s movie- I couldn't believe what I was seeing. The only saving grace is that it happened before cell phone camera were a thing, so there isn't much evidence of it, but I'll never forget it.

Not really very crazy, but my cousin was getting married for the 4th time a few years back. She has two daughters, one of which was supposed to be the flower girl and the other to hold a sign saying “Here comes Mommy”. Everything was going smoothly until the two girls were walking down the aisle before their mother, the bride. The little, toddler flower girl suddenly started puking EVERYWHERE. On the guests, on her sister, on the flowers, literally everywhere. My own mother, who was officiating the wedding, ran and picked up the flower girl, rushing her to the hospital. Turns out she had appendicitis and had to go into surgery. The wedding was postponed a few months later, when the poor girl was healed.

I was at my second cousins wedding when a little girl who was on the giant tire swing her older sister kept spinning, came up and threw up in her mothers hands, pockets, and shoes. Except... I was that little girl. yep. And I was four BTW

This was an outside wedding in a field in a state park. The bride rode in side saddle on horse back. She was a very “sturdy” woman. The horse refused to walk all the way down the isle. The groom walked down the isle to meet her, the horse got spooked, reared back and groom the dropped the rings into the tall grass. They were never found.
