My mom is a vet and the other day she spayed my kitten, Popcorn. She also did the tests for FIV and FELV while she was doing that. I have five cats, and Popcorn and one of the other cats are aggressive towards each other. It isn't bad enough that we need to get rid of one of them, they just don't like each other and occasionally get into fights. Anyway, popcorn came back FIV positive and we realized that we couldn't keep her anymore because she and my other cat got into fights too often. My mom was just going to put her down because we didn't have a home for her. But one of her coworkers apparently seeks out FIV positive cats to adopt, she already has one at her house. So she adopted Popcorn, and she lives fifteen minutes away from my house so I still get to visit popcorn all the time, which is great! She would've been put down if she wasn't adopted, so that makes me happy.
Beginning of this school year, my teacher advertised a poster about joining backstage/props and set crew for the fall play. I thought why not and joined, as it needed no experience and I needed more extracurriculars. I gained new friends, a newfound passion for theatre, and the love of a cute boy who likes theatre as much as I do! I would've never met my boyfriend if i hadn't impulsively joined--and I feel lucky pretty much every day that i did
I was sitting in a tree waiting for one of my friends to come. When they did, I aimed a small stone at them, missed and hot the trailer. "OH c**p," I remember saying :/ At least it didn't hit them
Not getting into the uni I had as my top preference- meant I went to a much smaller one that was a better fit for me.
