My brother and I are very close. We had motorcycles and would take 'Hell Rides' every year, where we would drive as many miles as we could over a three-day weekend. I ended up selling my bike to him for $1.00, and he had the gall to send me four (FOUR!) 25-cent money orders! I still have them to this day, as I never 'cashed them in.'

Not sure if describe it as funny as more confusing, but anyway. I'm a server and I had a table of 6 guests. They were fine enough, didn't run me ragged and were polite. She asked for the check prior saying she wanted to pay, so her other guests leave and she stayed for another half hour drinking her tea and then asked for the check. She paid the bill and gave me four cucumber melon tea candles as my tip in lieu of cash. I mean, they smelled nice and all but when I tried to buy gas with them later they wouldn't accept it. đ
I was the giver. I was 21 and the Air Force and I had decided to mutually part ways. Long story short i got out with causing enough trouble to be asked to leave but not bad enough to get me a dishonorable.
2 weeks until my discharge date and my signing bonus came through. 21 yrs old and 6000 bucks. I was told by usaf that i could make payments to pay it back.
A month later a bill collector called and demanded full payment. Told me there wasnt any payment plans. After a little hiding and dodging finally decided to send a money order in for 25 bucks. Figured they wouldn't return money.
Paid 6000 off in 25 dollar chunks.
