On a farm in Virginia, there was an awning and my dad was opening it and some bird's nest feel out of it and he didn't think anything of it and he opens it all the way and a snake falls out. I was five and he SPRINTED off the deck but forgot something on the deck. ME!!!!!!!! left me on the deck and after he realized it, he ran back and through me over his shoulders while I cried my eyes out because he left me. Also the snake was just a garden snake but I didn't know that.

When I was younger (in my teens) my sister had this Muscovy duck named Gronk. He was all white, but with a hairless red face and baby blue eyes.
    He was a hateful creature.

Anyway so Gronk had a habit of just trampling the electric fence and following people. I was in our shed playing with my barn-kittens and I hear him quacking outside. I was a little scared of him so I waited for him to go away, but he didn't. Finally, I opened the door and marched confidently by him hoping he'd get the memo that I didn't have time for him. He attacked me. I kicked him a few times but I was scared I'd actually hurt him (and my sister would be mad) and he kept flapping and hissing, beating me with his wings. Finally I grabbed him around the neck and pushed him away. He was so angry he started salivating down his beak. I was terrified. I couldn't let go, and I couldn't reach a stick (he was scared of sticks) so I finally just gave him a last shove and booted it toward the house as fast as I could.

I swear that duck was possessed or something. He came after me, wings spread, hissing. I don't think I have ever run faster in my life. He was behind me the whole time.

Once I had slammed the door and was safe, I laughed because I was so scared and also because the neighbors probably just saw a teenager scream by with a duck after her.🤣

One of the funniest things is that Gronk hated me (I had never been mean to him) but he loved my baby brother. He used to let my brother give him hugs, whereas he always tried to bite other people (and the poor dog).
