Hey Pandas! What’s Something Your Boss Told You To Do That Was So Laughable, You Thought It Was A Joke.
I'll start! I'll preface this by saying me and my boss have a sort of good relationship, we talk and joke sometimes, but still professional.
She asked me one night if I could cover the work of two other coworkers since they had called out. And this is where I realized the buddy relationship I've had with her is bad cause I laughed at that thinking it was a joke, but she said it in her usual joking/ nice tone.
Needless to say she was quite serious.

Working for my father in law a few years back. He said I should treat him more like a boss. I laughed really hard at that. He did not. In my defense, “professional” would never be used to describe him. He once made a joke to one of our suppliers that I should get tarted up (dress up, makeup, heels) and go to car dealerships to try to drum up business. Yuck.
