Learn how to be happy, not overthink & find something I love doing
I would like to be more confident.
Good job :-) with practice I’m sure you will find that success suits you and you wear it well
Not to bring everybody down but I would quite like to learn how to be happy.
Not only that, but also how to resist self harming and suicidal thoughts.
Its gotten way outta hand lately and I don't actually know how much longer I can hold on.
Sorry again to bring everybody down.
Foraging/wildcrafting. Free diving. Brush up on scuba skills. Better ways to meditate. Kayaking, paddling upright.
Something I've been carrying over from late 2022, Karate.
Got my yellow belt in December of last year, and if things keep progressing how they've been, I'm expected to get my orange belt in April.
I'd like to play the guitar. I love them, they sound so warm, dark and cozy.
Also, maybe learning some new swimming techniques. I love swimming but I'm not very good at it. Things like butterfly technique looks so strong and powerful.
I'd say to learn how to play easy songs. The first song I learned how to play was Hey There Delilah and it was pretty simple cus it's just the same few chords over and over
How to talk to people. Also how to cope with anxiety and depression
This is a start. Via text then just say hi or goodmorning. Small steps. Don't get discouraged if you do not get any response. That's them. Not you! You get there!
I myself would love to learn to make good cocktails, how to make a swing out of macramé and what i really want to do with my life
I was going to do it last year, but it just wasn’t to be…
I really want to learn to do lead lighting. I have a cabinet that is missing a glass panel and I want to do something personal for it.
I want to learn how to throw knives. I've been begging my parents for a couple years now and I think they've finally caved.
Basic DIY, like how to make some fitted shelves
Find a course on it, if possible. The money spent on it will be worth it, when you can actually make shelves yourself.
I want to learn to dance, particularly to slow jazz. I have a medical condition that unfortunately causes me to need to practice even longer to gain muscle memory, so, I also need to learn how to find a patient dance partner *sigh*
If you dont' insist on jazz dance try Linedance. It doesn't require a partner and if you stay in the back you can use the time you need. Later it will make it easier to start another kind of dance, if you don't want to stay with linedancing.
Something I want to learn this year is how to make a good loaf of gluten free bread. I have been buying my bread but it is getting to expensive to buy so I want to learn how to make my own.
I would like to learn how to use oil pastels in my art. Also how to get my books published.
The mandolin! I put one on my Amazon wishlist on impulse because I think they're cool, but I'd never actually spend the money on one, and surprisingly someone actually bought it for me. So...now I have one! Guess it's time to learn. I'm thinking 90s/00s alt rock renditions.
I think that rock is a bit difficult for a beginner. Don't you like folkmusic? That is often rather simple, because it was meant to be played by just about anyone.
I'd love to learn Spanish. And re-learn how to focus and stay focused. Fast scrolling and multitasking has taken that ability away from me
Hola, Como estas tu?(im in Spanish rn. Well not rn I’m in art rn..)
coding. soon or later i'll learn this. but just wish i'll find enough free time in 23 to start up
try python, it's pretty easy. or livecode community edition. it lets you more or less write in english.
How the hekk to draw a realistic ear. I can do EVERYTHING else pretty decent but the ears.... AH!
How to better sell my art work
Artist collectives exist for this very reason. It is most difficult to gain an audience or promote yourself as a single voice but when you’ve been together as a unit and promote collectively with a chorus of voices you’re easier heard. Share the work, share space, share love!
not being impulsive
I want to learn a hobby that I enjoy. I've tried a lot of things but nothing really clicks. I mostly just play video games, but I want to try something different. I'f you have any idea's please comment them!
To Danish and censor: Those are great ideas! I am currently working on a game called Friend. I have also been trying to improve my art skills too! Great suggestions!
If you like videogames try to make some yourself. If you get good at it, it might even turn into a lucrative hobby.
make beats. i know a great app, it's called auxy pro it's for iphone and ipad and i used to use it a lot, it's so cool
Try learning an instrument if you're interested in this. Maybe something where you can see success soon. Sure, the beginning can be hard but being able to create something beautiful with your hands, your breath, your feets or your voice is absolutely dope. Maybe also trying out some new sports, maybe something with a team. Could be great to get to know new people and find new friends :)
Good idea, but I'm not very passionate about baking sorry.
Load More Replies...I kinda want something that can entertain other people like making video games, but isn't too hard like learning an instrument.
Try making cider or pickling different things. or maybe macramé, painting, crocheting animals
That sounds cool, but I don't think I can make it a hobby sorry.
Load More Replies...Another language (human and computer). How to maintain a relationship without getting frustrated by peoples' insecurities.
Music theory
music theory is weird and confusing but if you want to learn go ahead
My target for this year is to get a full HAM radio licence.... just cause it interests me and I remember the days of CB radio when it was all cool but neever got into it through lack of funds/opportunity..... but as it was then ,it's still a bit of counter-culture I'd like to explore a bit more.
1. Learn more about my family history. Fun fact: I'm related to David Boone. In all the history books and even on Google, his wife's name is always written wrong. It is written Rebecca Bryan (her thought-to-be maiden name) Boone, but it is actually Rebecca Bryant Boone, with a T. I am directly related to Bryants, therefore I am related to David Boone. My family has passed this down for years, and literally no book or website or show has ever gotten it right.
2. Learn how to maintain a relationship. I just recently got into one with an amazing guy, and I need to learn how to really maintain a good one, which I think I am doing fairly good at so far.
3. Learn how to overcome my anxiety. It controls my life and I want it to stop. I work on it everyday, and I'm getting better slowly. Baby steps still move us forward!
ASL it would be a really good thing to know
I want to learn that too but they didn’t have a teacher so I’m taking Spanish..
I would love to learn so many things. The most important one tho is how to stand up for myself without feeling bad and apologising for being mean to the person who was originally mean to me.
It's not really a bad habit but I want to learn how to grow out of it.
On a side note, I also want to learn how to do more tricks in Colour Guard cus it's so much fun.
I would like to learn how to use Scrivener to write my novels. The tutorials don't seem to be helping any.
This isn’t my real answer but I guess it’s to stop being an @$$hole on here. Cuz I have been dubbed a jerk, an @$$hole, and a bunch of other things by certain people on here, even tho I haven’t said anything to offend someone in a long time. So idk at this point. People get offended by the stupidest things. Honestly what the fck. K rant over, if u have a problem with me at this point. Go fck urself. Cuz I haven’t said anything offensive.
I haven't noticed you being particularly offensive. However, you can always ignore people if they are getting on your nerves. That's what I generally do, and it produces a better result than telling people to f**k themselves
I started on this post because I always loved learning new things, and thought I would get ideas.
