My best friend is suicidal and at the time got bullied a lot because of his scars and people kept saying he was emo and s**t. Anyways, one of his "supposedly" best friend's starts making fun of him and tries to pick a fight with him. I see what's going on and I wait for my friend to stand up for himself as I told him repeatedly that I believed in him. Before he gets the chance however, the guy punches him hard in the face and I lost it. I hit him back doubly hard and now he thinks twice before even looking at my friend.

My friend is doing okay and I got detention 😭

I was at the grocery store and the lady ahead of me was short a few dollars so I paid for the rest of her order.

A homeless man approached me asking for money because he was hungry. I told him I wouldn't give him cash, but I'd buy him some food. I told him to meet me at the Subway next door.
I'm already inside when he comes in. Immediately the two employees look up and say, "No begging aloud!" I said, "He's with me.". This man was a veteran and disabled. We get to the front of the line, I indicate he should order whatever he likes and as much as he likes. The girl taking his order became so rude, I finally had it and told her she should be ashamed of herself for speaking to ANYONE in that way!
I bought 6 sandwiches and then we went to the grocery store where I bought him cooler, ice packs, drinks, fresh food and some canned food. He was crying at my kindness and I was crying about his situation and how he's treated. He declined the offer to take him to the VA, saying he's tried to stop drinking, but he just can't. I gave him my cellphone number & told him to call me if he needed something. This was in Fairbanks in the summer, it's HOT 80°-to over 100°, our winters are as cold as -70°.

I have bought groceries for a family that had no food to feed their children. I left them on the family's doorstep, rang the doorbell & hid. It was fun listening to the family as they took the bags into the house. I prefer to do such things without the recipient knowing who did it.

I was at the urgent care vet with my cat. It was a long wait and a full waiting room.
At the time I was financially strong (not rich but doing alright) and I paid the bill for another woman.
While we were waiting, she was sharing her frustrations on the various unexpected expenses she was experiencing. Her housing situation was bad and just as she was close to saving enough money to improve, something else would cost money like her sick dog.
I almost got away to my car before she found out. She found out, screamed, ran over with a hug.
I was happy to help.
My cat is fine and her dog had a good prognosis.

My dad bought 220 resin ducks off of Amazon to prank my mom(inspired by a Bored Panda post), but she has no sense of humor, so I have many of them now. I have used them to prank a couple of my friends, because we have fun like that. But I have also been just giving them out to people one by one. They are so freakin’ adorable, and I love seeing people smile at something at simple as a cute, little resin duck. I recently left one on the doorknob of one of my teacher’s classrooms, and happened to see her reaction. Her daughter that I’m friends with had seen them around the school I think, and they were both very excited to receive a duck. Who knew tiny toy ducks could make people so happy?

I am part of a nonprofit called Letters Against Isolation and we write cards and letters to senior living facilities around the world to bring a little bit of happiness and kindness to help combat loneliness. Anyone can volunteer at LAI.org.
